Community Development Director Job Description and Authorization to Advertise <br /> Position <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br /> motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br /> execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5 <br /> 5. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> None. <br /> 6, PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None. <br /> 7, NEW BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 8, UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 9. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND REQUESTS <br /> Councilmember McClung reminded residents that the Night to Unite is next week Tuesday, <br /> August 3rd. <br /> Mayor Harpstead expressed regret in accepting the resignation of Community Development <br /> Director Lehnhoff and thanked him for his hard work, tremendous accomplishments, and <br /> dedication to the City of Arden Hills. He also stated the City would miss James and that everyone <br /> has enjoyed working with him including the Council, Staff and the residents. <br /> Community Development Director Lehnhoff thanked everyone for the opportunities presented <br /> by the City as both the City Planner and the Community Development Director. He stated it had <br /> been an honor to work for Arden Hills, the Council, the residents and Staff. He expressed special <br /> thanks to the Community Development Staff including Building Official/Commercial Inspections <br /> Dave Scherbel, Code Enforcement/Residential Inspections John Mennenga, City Planner Meagan <br /> Beekman, and also Parks and Recreation Manager Michelle Olson. <br />
