AH • Continuity of quality leadership. SV • Responsiveness to issues/concerns. SV • Many different resources to deal with major issues. SV • Special event coverage through both volunteers and paid staff. SV • Continued success of Night to Unite and with switch to new program. SV WBT • Volunteers in Public Safety program. SV • Quality work and quick response from traffic deputies. SV • Very good policing for the cost. VH • The Sheriff's Department seems to have good working relationships with the other neighboring departments. VH • The K9 units. VH • Emergency response. WBT • Overall response. WBT • Professionalism. WBT • Cooperative attitude. WBT Weaknesses • Lack of visibility. AH • Low use of the speed trailer. AH • Investigations of minor vandalism incidents. SV • Loss of two 20+ year employees. SV • Operating down one squad on numerous occasions. SV • Sometimes goes too much out of its way to accommodate one or a few communities. VH • The City Council would like to be briefed more (confidential if necessary) on alarming issues. VH • Could use more "Canned articles" on crime prevention or current policing concerns.
