Parks, Trails & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes September 21, 2010 <br />Page 5 <br />Ms. Olson informed that Terry Maurer was hired as the new Public Works Director. <br />Ms. Olson mentioned that Celebrating Arden Hills was held this past Saturday and it <br />went very well and that the next scheduled event will be the Elmer L. Andersen <br />Memorial Trail Celebration on October 14, 5:00 p.m. — Glenpaul /Cleveland trail head. <br />Committee Member O'Malley asked whether they could add "Park Water Fountains" to <br />the next agenda. She indicated that some parks do not have any water fountains and <br />should especially if there is a basketball court. Ms. Olson indicated they could add to the <br />agenda but that some of the parks do not have water connected to them and to add a <br />fountain to a park that does not have water would be costly. <br />6. NEXT MEETING <br />A. The next meeting is scheduled for October 19, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. <br />7. ADJOURNMENT <br />Committee Member Garretson moved to adjourn, seconded by Committee Member O'Malley. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br />
