ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL August 30, 2010 6 <br />7.B. Resolution 2010 -041: Ordering the Preparation of a Feasibility Report for the 2011 <br />Pavement Management Program (continued) <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated Staff was looking at this. <br />Councilmember Holmes stated the Council had decided to wait with the mill and overlay for <br />Janet Court. She asked why this was part of the project for 2011. <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated Staff understood the direction from the Council was to include Janet <br />Court in a larger future mill and overlay project. <br />Councilmember Holmes stated the proposed improvements for Arden View Drive stop in the <br />middle of the road. She asked if this was correct. <br />Civil Engineer Giga clarified Arden View Drive had been constructed in multiple segments over <br />time and the point that this project will stop is the breaking point between these different <br />segments. <br />Councilmember Holmes asked why Colleen Court was included in this project proposal. <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated there is some road deterioration and Staff would like to investigate <br />this for potential problems that should be addressed. <br />Mayor Harpstead stated this would be a 2011 project and assessed against those residents that <br />would be impacted if the Council voted to move ahead with the project. He asked if the soil <br />borings would be included in the feasibility report. <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated this is correct. <br />Councilmember Grant stated the Roseville Engineering Department is also working an <br />engineering study for Old Snelling, south of Lindy's. He asked if adding another large project for <br />the Roseville Engineers would be over committing those resources. <br />Civil Engineer Giga stated Staff is planning on completing both projects and has scheduled the <br />time for these. <br />MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br />Approve Resolution 2010 -041: Resolution Ordering the Feasibility Report for <br />the 2011 Pavement Management Program. The motion carried unanimously <br />(4 -0). <br />C. Resolution 2010 -043: Set Proposed TIF District Public Hearing Date <br />Presbyterian Homes Redevelopment <br />City Administrator Klaers stated Presbyterian Homes has approached the City about its <br />proposed redevelopment of portions of their facilities on their existing site. As part of this <br />redevelopment, the possibility of relocating the Arden Hills library to this site is also being <br />
