Absurd
statements.).
This development, and in particular the main building, is profoundly out of scale with the surrounding single family homes
and unquestionably will adversely affect our properties and the open, park -like feel of the area. This is the wrong sort of
development for the area. Nowhere else in Minnesota has PHS built one of these 3- or 4 -story facilities in a location that is
surrounded on all four sides by single family homes. With the exception of the Lake Johanna campus, they always have
green space or similarly -sized commercial buildings adjacent to their buildings. Simply put, it's the wrong building for this
site.
The question has been asked, but so far we have not received an answer: What is the City of Arden Hill's responsibility to
us the homeowners from financial, lifestyle and other damages? We understand the invocation of a PUD allows
negotiations and the relaxation of zoning codes, for example. But Where do you drawn line? How far beyond the code
limits can you go? How much do we have to be hurt before you decide it's too much? What criteria do you apply? What
policies are you following? How can we know when you are not meeting your responsibility to us?
Frederick V.
