While there are many positive aspects to the project, we would like the Council to consider some changes
supported by our. neighborhood. We live on Shorewood Lane just off of Wheeler. Like many of my neighbors, we have
young children. As you may be aware, Shorewood Lane has a rather sharp curve that can be dangerous for pedestrians
and children on bicycles (or other mode of transportation) when there is fast or increased traffic. Please consider the
following changes at your meeting on 11/29:
a. Eliminate the upper exit ie: No road connecting the main parking to exit out to Wheeler.
b. Shift the parking lot for the SE Brownstones from its current location facing Co Rd D to the North side of the
Brownstones. Additionally, the outlet for this new location for the parking lot should off -set to line -up with the
commercial property on Co Rd D and not Wheeler, including a "pork- chop" to force traffic to the right.
c. Add a berm and additional landscaping between the SE Brownstones and Co Rd D to better integrate the structure into
our neighborhood.
Thank you for your hard work on this project and your willingness to work with the residents to achieve the best possible
outcome.
Sincerely,
1
