City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 22, 2010 <br />Councilmember Fehrenbacher asked for clarification of the Announcements/Updates of <br />the additional 25 percent to be billed back to residents. <br />City Administrator Larson stated it should read "25 percent of the city's share divided <br />amongst the properties involved". <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />approve the September 9, 2010 Council Meeting Minutes as amended. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City of Centerville September 9, 2010 through September 22, 2010 Claims <br />(Check #25764-25783) <br />2. Transient Merchant/Peddlers License — Comcast, 30 Day Period Following <br />Approval & Background Checks <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />approve the Consent Agenda Items 1-3 and 5-7. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />4. Parks and Recreation Committee Request for $2,700 Reserved — Purchase Public <br />Announcement System (Revenue from 8K/Run/Walks) <br />Councilmember Love questioned purchasing the equipment when there doesn't seem to be <br />sufficient funds available to cover the expense. <br />Park and Recreation Staff Liaison Stephan indicated this approval was to allocate the available <br />money for purchase of the equipment so that it wouldn't be spent on something other than the <br />Announcement System. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to approve <br />Parks and Recreation Committee Request for $2,700 Reserved -Purchase Public <br />Announcement.
