City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 10, 2010 <br />City Administrator Larson stated that by making these modifications to the ball field, the <br />City is making the field more specialized rather than multipurpose. And if this use were <br />discontinued, the city would likely incur costs to restore the fields to the prior <br />configuration. He noted that the additional drain tile was added to the field. <br />Councilmember Broussard Vickers questioned the reason for converting the field. <br />Councilmember Fehrenbacher replied to make the field a regulation little league field. <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to <br />approve the Centennial Little League Proposal — Field #1Laurie LaMotte <br />Memorial Park — Modifications for Converting to Required Little, League <br />Specifications as detailed in the Park and Recreation Committee Recommendation. <br />Motion carried (4-1) (Councilmember Broussard Vickers). <br />2. Resolution...10-031; Authorizing Closing of Fund 452 into Fund 349 <br />City Administrator Larson stated that this is a housekeeping issue of an inactive <br />construction fund that the balance should be transferred to the debt service fund. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded bV Council Member Paar <br />Approving Resolution 10-031 Authorizing Closing Fund 452 into Fund 349. All in <br />favor. Motion carried ,unanimously. <br />3. Resolution 10-032, Honoring Marcel Rivard. <br />Mayor Capra read the resolution regarding Marcel Rivard. <br />Motion, by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar Approving <br />Resolution 10-032 Honorinji Marcel Rivard. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />4. Litigation Settlement — Royal Oaks Realty, Special Assessments <br />City Attorney stated that the City received everything asked for in its special assessment <br />litigation and the City has been paid in full. <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council Member <br />Fehrenbacher accepting Litigation Settlement — Royal Oaks Realty, Special <br />Assessment as negotiated by the City Aftorng. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />5. Utility Billing List — Policy <br />City Administrator Larson stated that the City sold the utility billing mailing list to a <br />candidate in the recent election.
