A hearing was opened to take testimony on the proposal to amend Chapter 156, <br />Sections 156.30 & 156.40 to provide P&Z the flexibility in determining permitted <br />uses in the business and industrial zoning districts. Motion <br />passed. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />III.OLD BUSINESS <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Updating zoning to correspond with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Staff will schedule informal meetings by the end of December so the hearing can be <br />scheduled for early next year. The first meeting was on December 2, 2010 with <br />Paul McDowell of Northern Forest Products. Dallas Larson reported that Mr. <br />McDowell seemed satisfied that the proposed zoning change will not be <br />detrimental as long as the Code amendment is passed that permits them to continue <br />their industrial use after the rezoning. <br /> <br /> <br />IV.NEW BUSINESS. <br /> <br /> <br />1. Site Plan review-City of Centerville proposal to move building to LaMotte Park. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed an application for a permit to move a 28 x 48 garage <br />th <br />from city property at 7087 - 20 Avenue to LaMotte Park. The Commission <br />reviewed pictures of the building as well as pictures of the buildings in LaMotte <br />Park and the adjoining neighborhood.
