City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 12, 2011 <br />V. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. City of Centerville December 23, 2010 through January 12, 2011 Claims (Check <br />48991 & 26039-26065) & (Check 426066-26073) <br />2. Centennial Fire Department Claims through December 28, 2010 (Check 44634- <br />4645) <br />3. Centerville Lion's Request for Snow Plowing Associated with the Annual Fishing <br />Contest on February 12, 2011 <br />Council Member Love requested 43 be removed for discussion. <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to <br />approve the Consent Agenda items 1 & 2. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Council Member Love questioned whether the Lions were informed should there be a <br />snow storm Public Works may not be able to plow the parking lot for the Lion's event. <br />Mr. Larson assured the Council that the Lions have been informed the City could assist <br />with the annual fishing contest by cleaning the parking lot at Waterworks only as <br />scheduling permits and perhaps not even then if the City's equipment is unable to remove <br />the frozen snow and ice. <br />Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love to <br />approve the Consent Agenda item 3. Ayes — 4, Nays — 0, Abstain — 1 (Wilharber) <br />Motion carried. <br />Mayor Wilharber abstained as a member of the Centerville Lions Club. <br />VI. AWARDS/PRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br />None. <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br />None. <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br />Anoka County Residential Recycling Program Participation Agreement <br />Motion by Council Member Love, seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the annual agreement with Anoka County for recycling programs. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />2.
