It is intended that the R-3 District provide for higher-density <br /> residential district where a variety of dwelling types are permitted, provided the <br /> overall density of the property meets the district goal of 12 units per acre. The <br /> design and circulation of new residential areas are also intended to be <br /> complementary with and enhance the community's small-town atmosphere. All <br /> development within this district shall be submitted for consideration through the <br /> Planned Unit Development process.
