Planning & Zoning Commission Recommendation to Adopt Ordinance Amending Chapter <br /> 90 Allowing Bee Keeping & Approving Summary fox Publication <br /> This item was discussed at the January 12, 2Q 11 City Council meeting and suggested modifications <br /> were forwarded to the Planning & Zoning Commission to develop a proposed ordinance. The <br /> Commission developed the ordinance that has been placed on the agenda. <br /> Ma or Wilharber re uested the minutes reflect that Council Member Fehrenbacher arrived at 6:38 <br /> Y 9 <br /> p.m. <br /> � There was considerable discussion on the bee keeper gaining permission to keep bees from <br /> abutting property owners and what if that was not possible due to personal issues between <br /> neighbors that had nothing to do with bees. City Attorney Glaser reviewed the Minneapolis <br /> ordinance which states permission is needed from abutting property owners unless the bees are <br /> � � <br /> 200 from the property line.
