Arts in the Park weather policy
Arts in the Park does not have an alternate weather location and we do not schedule
make -up concerts. Because of this, we make every effort to have the event go on as
scheduled.
It is our policy to pay our musicians for their time and effort in getting to the event, even
if the concert is eventually cancelled for weather - related reasons. In exchange for this
policy, we expect musicians to remain at the park until at least the scheduled concert start
time. If a performer feels that the current weather conditions pose a threat to their
equipment, they may postpone setup until the weather clears or the event is cancelled.
If the show is to be cancelled, that determination will be made at the concert start time by
event staff with input from musicians. Performers who leave the park without the
approval of event staff, or prior to the show being cancelled will forfeit their payment for
the event.
