The Artist agrees to render to the Purchaser its services as musicians /entertainers on the terms and conditions stated below: 1. Place of engagement: Lakeside Park, Forest Lake, MN 2. Date of engagement: 8/17/2010 3. Hours of engagement: 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. 4. Type of engagement: The Artist shall act faithfully, honestly and to the best of its ability to render its performance within the recognized standards for its profession in or near Lakeside Park Gazebo. The Purchaser shall pay the Artist immediately upon completion of the performance the sum of $500 in full payment therefore. The performance by the Artist is subject to proven detention by sickness, accident, riots, strikes, epidemics, acts of God or any other legitimate conditions beyond its control. The performance may be cancelled by the Purchaser in the event of impending inclement weather. In the event of cancellation, the Artist shall be entitled to 100% of the agreed upon compensation. Performers for Arts in the Park are selected in congruence with the mission and purpose of Arts in the Park. Selection to participate in Arts in the Park is done on an annual basis. Neither invitation to perform nor actual selection to perform constitutes a guarantee or promise for future participation.
