• Philip Capra — Eagle Project <br /> Troop 232 — Many Waters District <br /> 6. 3 Days prior to planting: Review weather one last time to see if altemate day should be <br /> used. If weather delays project contact Rum R.iver to cancel deliver and arrange a <br /> different day. Verify with the Rum River Tree Fann the time of delivery and arrange <br /> volunteers to show up make the most of their time. <br /> 7. 1 Day prior to planting: Review site to make certain the area is prepared by the public <br /> works staff. Make amangement to pick up key for the warming house from the public <br /> works department. <br /> 8. Day of planting: Arrive eazly to park to open warming house. Put volunteer sign in <br /> sheets in an azea visible to the volunte�ers. When volunteers amve I will make sure that <br /> they are aware of any injuries or hazards that could occur while woricing. Let the <br /> volunteers know where the bathroom facilities are located, water, snacks and what time <br /> we will be planning on eating lunch. Organize crews has volunteers arrive and provide <br /> them with a she�et explaining the planting procedure/requirements. Let the planting <br /> begin. <br /> 9. End of planting day: Make certain all trees are watered and the area is cleaned up. <br /> Prepare a detailed recap of the day to be emailed to the park & rec committee members, <br /> public works director and city finance director. <br /> 10. Following week: Send out thank notes to a11 who assisted with the planting and any <br /> other part of making ttus project a success. <br />
