City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 11, 2006 <br /> <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Approval of Purchase Agreement – St. Paul Regional Water Utilities <br /> <br /> Mayor Capra asked for permission to look into the house and review it for condition. <br /> <br /> Mayor Capra asked about receiving a Quit Claim Deed. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that the City will know of any title issues and takes them <br />by Quit Claim Deed to be handled, if necessary. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked if this property has been surveyed officially. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that a survey was done but the City has not seen the full <br />survey but has for the one lot interested in. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that there has been an issue with the downtown area and there is a <br />house and a garage right next to that property and she would like the property lines <br />confirmed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that they are surveying the property and will provide <br />that information. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Terway to approve <br />the Purchase Agreement with St. Paul Regional Water Utilities subject to approval <br />of the final language by the City Attorney. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the agreement requires removal of the home <br />within six (6) months of closing. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked if the fence is going to be removed and brought around the side of <br />their concrete building and asked Staff to discuss it with them. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that there are a few language changes that legal Staff <br />is still working on and those will be resolved prior to execution of the agreement. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reminded Council that the next meeting of the Fire Steering <br />Committee is on February 2, 2006. <br /> <br />Page 5 of 7 <br />
