MEMORANDUM <br /> DATE: April 17, 1998 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM: Ry -Chel Gaustad <br /> RE: Election Booths <br /> In the 1998 budget, the city allocated $2000 for election supplies. Anoka County Elections <br /> Department plans to order election booths. Several cities are ordering through Anoka <br /> County to receive a bulk rate. If the City orders voter booths in conjunction with Anoka <br /> County, the per unit cost will drop from $230 to $165. The City is in need of ten booths at <br /> the total cost of $1650 plus tax, shipping and handling. The shipping and handling cost <br /> will be calculated based on the overall quanti of booths ordered. <br /> Anoka County Elections will order the booths from ES &S (Election Systems & Supplies) <br /> on Friday, April 24, 1998. <br /> Council action on this item would be appreciated. <br /> r <br />
