Councilmember Buckbee suggested the City maintain the well for sprinkling purposes. <br /> Councilmember Brenner mentioned Mrs. Barett is accepting of the house destruction. Mr. March <br /> spoke to the Fire Chief about using the house for a practice burn. <br /> Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to direct City Staff to contact Centennial <br /> Fire Districts in regards to a practice burn Also to »lace an advertisement in the local newspaper <br /> for bids on the garage contact simple house removers of the progress and advertise for a bid <br /> opening on July 8 1998 at 6'00 12.m. Also contact Anoka County Housing and Redevelopment <br /> Authoyi y in regards to salvaging the well and hardware. <br /> Mayor Wilharber amended the motion and it was seconded to have the City consider usingth@ <br /> garage for Public Work use until the new building is constructed if bids are too low, Motion <br /> carried unanimously, <br /> Resolution 98 -13• Approving Plans and Specifications and to Authorize Advertisement of <br /> Bids for Parkview Development. <br /> Councilmember Buckbee moved and it was seconded to adopt resolution 98 -13 approving plans <br /> and specifications and to authorize the advertisement of bids for Parkview development Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Councilmember Buckbee moved and it was seconded to approve the Parkview Development Plat <br /> the Developers Agreement and lthe grading plan as submitted Motion carried unanimously-. <br /> LaMotte Park <br /> Mr. Nyberg briefed the Council on the Laurie LaMotte Park progress in regards to the wetlands. <br /> Mr. Nyberg added Mr. Dan Tourville signed an affidavit indicating some wetlands were created <br /> by the Tourville family in the 50's. <br /> In addition, Mr. Nyberg reported Mr. Gerald Rehbein donated wetland credits. Councilmember <br /> Buckbee questioned Mr. Nyberg if there was anything associated with the donation. Mr. Nyberg <br /> indicated Mr. Rehbein simply made the wetland credit donation. Councilmember Buckbee <br /> suggested Staff send a thank you letter to Mr. Rehbein for donating the wetland credits for Laurie <br /> LaMotte Park. Mr. Nyberg commented the original wetlands was at 25,000 square feet and now <br /> they are at 9,500 square feet. <br /> Mr. Nyberg recommended the Council authorize H.R. Green to proceed with the Laurie LaMotte <br /> Park's grading and storm sewer plans and specifications. In addition, the cost of the project is <br /> projected to be less than $25,000. Therefore, the city will not have to advertize for bids. <br /> Councilmember Brenner moved and it was seconded to authorize the En. ipeer to proceed with <br /> plans and specifications at Laurie LaMotte Park for the base cost of $5-000.
