All of the easements, with the <br /> exception of the forcemain easement along the Lake Area Utility property, should be signed and <br /> in hand prior to the May 19 City Council meeting. Mr, W J. Lessard will be in attendance at <br /> the May 13' Council meeting to discuss his proposed assessment an the project. We need to <br /> acquire an easement from Mr. Lessard to install the forcemaln according to the plan. We hope <br /> to come to an agreement on his easement soon. <br /> If an agreement with Mr. Lessard cannot be reached regarding his easement, an alternavve <br /> would be to install a temporary forcemain connection with the sanitary sewer manhole at the <br /> south end of the Industrial Park. A permanent forcemain connection to the Brian Drive sanitary <br /> sewer would occur in the future when the Lake Area Utllky property Is developed. Another <br /> alternative would be to install the forcemain closer to the Stevens property, resulting in <br /> significant tree loss. We hope to avoid both of these situations and come to terms with Mr. <br /> Lessard on the proposed easement. <br /> We recommend that the project not be awarded until the easement issues are resolved It <br /> would be appropriate to award the project contingent upon receiving the required easements, so <br /> that construction can begin immediately after all the easements are acquired. <br /> £0.c0Id 95 �LT ��866L- 80 -hF1W <br />
