Des Englund told members how the new bylaws with a <br /> change in vesting from 5 up to 10 years would benefit and help the surplus. The pension <br /> now stands at $2400 per year of service and the Relief Association is requesting an <br /> increase to $3000 per year of service. <br /> Andy Neil made the motion to approve the firefighters pension increase to $3000 per year <br /> of service on the condition that the cities would not increase their share more than the <br /> planned amount. LeAnn Osbun seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Fire Chief Review <br /> Jim Keinath addressed Chief Bennett's annual review. The review was very positive and <br /> the steering committee feels Milo has done very well.
