Mary also stated that there are many left over trees at the <br /> tree farm, and the City could plant the trees in the area where the fence was. <br /> Pier - Wayne Leblanc stated that he knows who to contact in reference to the pier that <br /> was recommended for Peltier Lake. <br /> Community Center - Mary Capra stated that someone needs to get in touch with the <br /> Archdiocese and let them know the ideas that were given which involve Saint Genevieve's <br /> Church, rectory, and property. There is talk of combining churches in the future, but no <br /> decision has been made. The church feels that they have adequate worship space, but <br /> need additional space for Faith Formation Classes. <br /> Star City Goals and Objectives <br /> A brief discussion was held, and it was determined that there was nothing new to report. <br /> Mary Capra stated that the Star City issues were blended into the downtown revitalization <br /> discussion. <br /> Studebaker - No update <br /> Heritage Museum - Mary Capra stated that she has spoken with Hal Leibel, and he has <br /> expressed interest in donating several old artifacts, and newspaper articles to the museum. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> EDC Vacancy and Timeframe - The vacancy is listed in the Fall Newsletter, and may also <br /> be put up on outdoor City Hall sign to notify residents of this vacancy. Tim Rehbine <br /> asked Wayne Leblanc if he would be interested in filling the vacant spot on the EDC <br /> Committee. Wayne stated that he would like to wait and see what other areas the EDC <br /> Committee focuses on, but he will consider the opportunity. <br /> Next Meeting Agenda <br /> A. Vote for the City Person of the Year Award <br /> B. Vote for Business Person of the Year Award. <br /> (Ballot forms were passed out by Theresa Brenner.) <br /> Theresa stated that she will include the list of previous years winners in next packet. <br /> Christmas Party <br /> Tentative date is December 5th at Kelly's Korner. <br /> AdjQUm - Motion to adjourn at 8:20 p.m. was made by John Magill.
