Motion carried unanimously. <br /> PAYMENT OF CLAIMS: <br /> City of Centerville November 27 - through 30th - <br /> MOTION by Brenner, seconded by Buckbee to approve the disbursements and receipts <br /> of November 27 through 30th. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> City of Centerville December 1 through 11th - <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Brenner to approve the disbursements of December <br /> 1 through 11th. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Centennial Fire District December 6, 1996 - <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Brenner to approve the Fire Districts December 6, <br /> disbursements. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> SET AGENDA: <br /> Goals and Objectives for 1997 <br /> Meeting with Jim Brimeyer <br /> Assignments and Appointments for 1997 <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Brenner to approve the set agenda. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> APPEARANCES: <br /> Michael Navin - represented the Park and Recreation Committee - Navin requested <br /> direction to pursue a joint powers agreement with the area communities recreation <br /> committee. Navin explained, P &R addressed the lack of service Centerville has received <br /> from North Metro Recreation Services. Communities recreation may provide a better <br /> service to the citizens. Navin said, Centerville pays about $5.00 per household to North <br /> Metro and the city doesn't know where these funds are spent. P &R would like to look <br /> further into the joint powers agreement. <br /> Buckbee asked if the school would participate. Navin will look into the schools <br /> participation and /or interest. Navin said, if the City chooses not to go with the contract, <br /> Centerville will be left out and may have to pay additional fees to be included in recreation <br /> 2 <br />
