Second, transportation issues. <br /> Mr. Johnson explained the proposed MUSA outlook for 1997 through year 2005 is in <br /> staging periods. <br /> CURRENT MUSA <br /> Residential 160 <br /> Commercial 30 <br /> Industrial 15 <br /> 1997-2000 <br /> Residential 77 <br /> Commercial 10 <br /> Industrial 75 <br /> 2001 -2005 <br /> Residential 12 <br /> Commercial 10 <br /> Industrial <br /> Mr. Johnson completed his presentation and opened the floor for questions. <br /> Dan Tourville, 6994 Centerville Road, brought up, the high density zoning listed on the <br /> church property should be changed since the church has no interest in selling or <br /> entertaining senior housing. <br /> Brenner agreed with Mr. Tourville, the church wasn't interested in senior housing and <br /> suggested moving the high area density east to Tourville's property. <br /> Buckbee asked if the Tourville property was out of the City's budget, for senior housing. <br /> Brenner mentioned, the Council has a senior workshop set up for January 15, to detail the <br /> city's senior housing options. Brenner suggested, contacting Mr. Johnson with any <br /> changes for the final steps of the comprehensive plan. <br /> Mr. Johnson mentioned with the new state laws, all ordinances must comply with the <br /> comprehensive plan. Brenner questioned the ability of a property owner to change a <br /> zoning after the comprehensive plan has been adopted. Mr. Johnson explained with the <br /> new laws the comprehensive plan would have to be changed by petitioning to the Met - <br /> Council. <br /> Mr. Johnson reviewed the "Utility Staging/MUSA Additions figure 12" of the <br /> comprehensive plan. Mr. Johnson explained the current and the future guidelines for the <br /> • utility and MUSA additions. Brenner asked if the council could deny development until <br /> 2 <br />
