All in favor.
Star City Goals and Objectives
Each member is to look over their goals and objectives and bring
any changes our ideas to the next meeting.
Goal 3 - Leave as is.
Goal 4 - Leave as is. Paul Montain talked to the County Hwy Dept
and stated the current plans are to do nothing in the next five
years, but for the years 2002 - 2007 they have plans for major
reconstruction of County Road 14 between 35W and 35E. We need to
get some costs and ideas from such things as the Mn Design Team
or Dean Johnson to improve the downtown area.
Welcome Wagon - Mary Capra brought in sample cards to start as a
test. Her idea is to start with charging each businessowner
$ 75.00 for 50 homes. Do a follow -up with the residents and
businessowners after to see if the program is worthwhile to
continue. The cost would be approximately $.50 for each card and
$1.00 would go to EDC for fundraising purposes.
