An ordinance like the one attached is a recommendation of the Water Supply <br /> Plan for the City of Centerville. The Plan also references the establishment of an <br /> Emergency Event Evaluation Team that would be responsible for implementing a sprinkler <br /> ban during periods of hot, dry weather when water usage typically increases. <br /> CIVIL ENGINEERING. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL Watering lawns and gardens is completely banned between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and <br /> MUNICIPAL 6:00 p.m. Permitted uses are limited to a typical method of allowed usage using odd/even <br /> TINNING days. On odd days, property owners with odd numbered addresses would be allowed to <br /> SOLID WASTE water lawns and gardens and on even days, property owners with even numbered addresses <br /> STRCC -LRAL would be allowed to water lawns and gardens. But the watering must only occur during <br /> BURVEVwc the non - banned time period between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Property owners with new <br /> TRAFFIC <br /> sod would be allowed to water more frequently to allow the sod to establish a root system <br /> TRANSPORTATION <br /> for a period of two weeks. The ordinance would apply to both lawns and gardens. <br /> ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL <br /> ENGINEERING We will be in attendance at the April 9th Council meeting to further discuss this issue.
