Motion carried unanimously, <br /> SET AGENDA: <br /> Ro -So Complaint <br /> Mr. Mike Black - Lakeland Hills Development <br /> Hatem Quaheim Complaint <br /> Resolution 97 -12 <br /> Sidewalk on Revoir Street - Dennis & Molly Nelson <br /> Automotive Drive Line (ADL) - Special Use Permit <br /> Park and Recreation Update - Michael Navin <br /> Local Businesses <br /> PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> Mr. Glen Powers (1870 Quebec Street) submitted a complaint letter. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to acknowledge receipt of Mr. Powers letter. Motion <br /> seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Burton and Norma Essex - (7333 Old Mill Road) Sod /Seeding Front Yard <br /> Ms. Norma Essex addressed Acting Mayor Helmbrecht and the Council. Ms. Essex explained <br /> they seeded in the fall and the sod escrow was refunded in the spring. Further, the building <br /> inspector stated, it was clear that seeding was not a problem. Given the complexity of the <br /> problem, Ms. Essex felt it was unnecessary to rip up the current seeded lawn and replace it with <br /> sod. <br /> Mr. Ken Cook was asked his recollection of the visit to the Essex's home. Mr. Cook reported he <br /> spoke with Mr. Essex and clearly communicated the City's Sod/Seeding policy. Mr. March <br /> explained the City's policy, front yards are to be sodded, and home builders are aware of the <br /> policy. "Why didn't the Essex's contact city hall when Mr. Cook alerted them to the problem ?" <br /> asked Councilmember Buckbee. Adding, Exhibit A (City Sod Policy) be returned prior to the <br /> issuance of a certificate of occupancy. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Buckbee to table the Essex issue until Monitari Homes are <br /> contacted and a copy of Exhibit A is furnished. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2 <br />
