MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to include staff input by way of survey asking about <br /> the city in general. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Mayor Wilharber yes, <br /> Councilmember Mary Jo Helmbrecht yes, Councilmember Buckbee abstained, Councilmember <br /> Brenner yes, Councilmember Powers yes. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. March reported Paul Palzer, Public Works Director/Building Official, Ed Weigert and himself <br /> planned to visit the City of Hugo to view the hand held and phone read water metering system. <br /> Mr. March suggested the council consider purchasing 48 grey vinyl with black frame chairs for <br /> the council chambers. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve Staffto purchase forty -eight (48) chairs at <br /> a maximum of $28.00 per chair. Motion seconded by Mayor Wilharber. Mayor Wilharber yes, <br /> Councilmember Helmbrecht yes, Councilmember Buckbee yes, Councilmember Brenner yes, <br /> Councilmember Powers abstained. Motion carried. <br /> Councilmember Powers suggested staff find three council chair designs and bring the design and <br /> cost to the Council. <br /> Councilmember Brenner reported she received a complaint, 7333 Old Mill Road, the yard located <br /> at 7333 Mill Road, had been seeded not sodded. Mayor Wilharber briefed the Council on the <br /> complaint situation. <br /> MOT10N by Councilmember Helmbrecht to send a letter to the Essex family explaining the <br /> option to sod and if they do not sod, the city will sod and assess their taxes. Motion seconded by <br /> Councilmember Powers. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Buckbee to authorize the city to reimburse the Essex family for the <br /> seed laid, not to exceed $50.00. Motion seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. Mayor <br /> Wilharber yes, Helmbrecht yes, Buckbee yes, Brenner nay, Powers nay. Motion carried. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Powers to sod the City owned trail way located on Mill Road. <br /> Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Councilmember Buckbee left at 6:10 p.m. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Powers to adjourn the special meeting at 6:15 p.m. Motion <br /> seconded by Councilmember Brenner.
