MOTION by Councilmember Powers to approve the set agenda with noted additions. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS Wayne Leblanc - Petition from Peltier Lake Drive Mr. LeBlanc gave a brief overview of the current design of the Peltier Lake Drive and Centerville Road intersection. Mr. LaBlanc voiced the opinion of himself and the neighboring property owners to eliminate the Peltier Lake Drive 90 degree turn at Centerville Road, and develop a cul- de -sac from the existing through road. Mr. March reported both the Police Chief and the Fire Chief suggested giving the plan written review. Councilmember Helmbrecht suggested the Police Chief and Fire Chief examine the request and report back to the Council. Mayor Wilharber stated an easement for a future sewer and water extension may be required. Also, a variance requesting the road length extend over 660'. Ms Tamee Blum Petition from Clear Ridge Ms. Blum reported Clear Ridge Road is not safe because of the large rocks extruding from the road surface. She requested an upgrade on the road surface and consideration during the 1998 budget review. Mr. Nyberg pointed out the Council has Clear Ridge Road scheduled for sealcoat in 1999. Mayor Wilharber acknowledged receipt of the petition and equally important stated the Council will take this under consideration during budget review. APPEARANCES Curtis Coffman & Brad Hanggi - Clearwater Meadows Trailway /Sidewalk Mr. Coffman acquainted the Council with a trailway concern shared by several home owners on South Brain Drive in Clearwater Meadows Development. Mr. Coffman requested the Council relocating the trailway easement south two lots onto an unsold lot. 2
