CENTERVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY November 18, 1997 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereor, the Centerville Economic <br /> Development Committee geld their regular scheduled meeting on <br /> November 16, 1997. Chairperson Tim Rehbine called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:05 P.M. Present: Join Magill, Dan Tourville, Theresa <br /> Brenner, Mary Capra. Centerville <br /> Floral, Comfort Plus, and Performance Automotive had not received <br /> many of their coupons back, but Corner Express and Kelly's had a <br /> good return. John suggested waiting until after the holidays and <br /> then see about getting the program started again if businesses <br /> are still interested in doing so. <br /> Goals & Objectives It was decided in January to start contacting <br /> businessowners to see it they would like to attend an EDC meeting <br /> for feedback. Ideas such as Rich Toumi W or Bob Mehsicomber <br /> would be a good contact for the January meeting. <br /> M USA /Comp P /City Water /Lino Interconnect <br /> Dan iourville stated the new comp plan was laid out q"its <br /> differently than the old comp plan. He stated it shows a <br /> downtown district area providing a creation of a zoning district <br /> for the area. <br /> Un the Lino Interconnect, Theresa Brenner stated tney are getting <br /> closer to a commitment and a time frame worked out with Lino <br /> Lakes. <br /> Sen ior Housin <br /> 1heresa Brenner stated °It's going up!". Prior to the ground <br /> breaking, a few details needed to be worked out such as curbing <br /> and sprinkling of certain area of the building. <br /> Studebaker Fire Truck <br /> Dan Tourville stated that it is being stored at - Tom Wi1narbers <br /> now but that the keys have been misplaced. The thing to do now is <br /> to try and find someone that would like to restore it to its <br /> original condition. It needs paint, upholstering, chroming, <br /> general clean —up, and some mechanical work to get it up and <br />
