Studebaker Fire Truck <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve storing the Studebaker Fire Truck at the <br /> Wilharber domicile. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION by Mayor Wilharber authorizing Staff to execute a thank you letter to Mr. and Mrs. <br /> Tourville for storing the Studebaker Fire Truck on their property. Motion seconded by <br /> Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Chauncey Barett Gardens Ground Breaking <br /> Councilmember Brenner reported the Chauncey Barett Gardens ground breaking and open house <br /> is scheduled for October 22, 1997 at 4:30 p.m. <br /> Sewall Gear <br /> Mr. March briefed the Council on a relocation business prospect, Sewall Gear. Mr. March <br /> reported he and Mr. Palzer met with the owners of Sewall Gear. Sewall Gear is looking to <br /> relocate and are looking at ten acres of Mr. Gerald Rehbine's land. The Council applauded Mr. <br /> March for the well written letter he executed to Sewall Gear. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Brenner to authorize Staff to sign and send the letter to Sewall <br /> Gear. Motion seconded by Councilmember Hehnbrecht. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> EDC Report <br /> Councilmember Brenner reported on the Downtown Revitalization Committee which is <br /> consortium of EDC members and other persons. Furthermore, the Committee met prior to the <br /> EDC meeting and discussed downtown themes and neighborhood crime watches. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Resolution 97 -19 Domestic Violence Awareness Month <br /> Resolution 97 -20 Adoliting the Modification to the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax <br /> Increment Financing District No. 1 -3 <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the consent agenda. Motion seconded by <br /> Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to adjourn the September 24, 1997 council meeting. <br /> Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner.
