Commercial Rubbish Collection Ordinance <br /> Mr. March explained the proposed Commercial Rubbish Collection Ordinance. Mr. March <br /> suggested licensing three to five commercial rubbish haulers to service the community at a fee of <br /> $250. per license. Councilmember Brenner reported EDC recommended Council to approve <br /> Commercial licensing. Ms. Penny Thompson (Waste Management) commented after canvassing <br /> the community, the businesses requested the City contract with commercial haulers. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to amend Resolution 97 -02 (Fee Schedule) to include <br /> the commercial rubbish collection license fee of $250. In addition, Councilmember Helmbrecht <br /> moved to exclusively authorize services to properties zoned commercial/Industrial. Motion <br /> seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to adjust and forward the fee schedule with the <br /> amendment. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Office E_ quipment <br /> MOTION by Mayor Wilharber to approve Staff to purchase office equipment from OEB. <br /> Motion died for a lack of a second. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to table the purchase of office equipment until the <br /> whole Council is available for comment. Motion seconded by Councilmember Brenner. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Recodification Proposal from General Code Publishers <br /> Ms. Gaustad distributed General Code Publishers ordinance codification proposal and a letter of <br /> support from the City Attorney. Ms. Gaustad reported the City has not received the LMC <br /> (League of Minnesota Cities) proposal. Motion seconded by Councilmember Helmbrecht. <br /> Lions Haunted House <br /> Mr. March reported the Centerville Lions requested Councils approval to hold the Haunted <br /> House at the Laurie LaMotte park and warming house. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Helmbrecht to approve the use of the Laurie LaMotte park and <br /> warming house for the Lions Haunted House.
