ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS <br /> September 24, 1997 <br /> 1 <br /> The City Council of Sauk Rapids, population.9,318, is doing its bi- <br /> annual solicitation for professional engineering services for <br /> calendar years 1998 and 1999. <br /> RCM and Terry Wotzka the current engineer is designated State Aid <br /> engineer for the city and attends bi- monthly city council meetings <br /> at no charge to the city. Work for the Housing and Redevelopment <br /> Authority is billed separately. <br /> Currently there are no large projects in the planning stage. The <br /> policy and practice has been that developers petition the city <br /> council for the typical new subdivision, road and utility <br /> improvements and the city engineer prepares a preliminary report, <br /> designs them for bid, supervises construction and prepares record <br /> drawings. Projects that have been designed by the present firm <br /> would be completed by the present firm. <br /> Engineering firms are invited to submit eight (8) copies of a <br /> Statement of Qualifications that would explain your range of <br /> services, the types of disciplines employed with the firm and name <br /> and resume of the engineers that would be assigned to Sauk Rapids <br /> work. In the fee schedule please quote the following minimum job <br /> classifications: <br /> Registered Professional Engineers <br /> EIT Certificate Engineer <br /> Registered Land Surveyor <br /> Senior Technicians <br /> Project Field Representative <br /> 2 Person Survey Crew <br /> 3 Person Survey Crew <br /> Include a list of present cities you are providing engineering <br /> services for and the two year fee schedule you propose to do the <br /> work in Sauk Rapids.
