carried unanimously, Action on Commercial Preliminary Plat TABLED Consideration of New Planning Commission Member MOTION by Ms. Broussard- Vickers to direct Staff to report to Ms. Ayde that the Planning and Zoning Commission has received her resume and are in the application acceptance process and when completed, Planning and Zoning will report back. Motion seconded by Ms. Vermeulen. Motion carried unanimously. APPEARANCES DISCUSSION ITEMS Tobacco Ordinance Findine Ms. Gaustad reported the City of Circle Pines has drafted a copy of a Tobacco Ordinance and has scheduled a reading in September. Upon the tobacco ordinance completion the City Administrator Jim Keinath will forward Centerville a copy. Furthermore, the City of Lino Lakes plans to examine their current tobacco ordinance after fall elections. Ms. Gaustad suggested achieving continuity among the communities whom are served by the same police department. Therefore Ms. Gaustad recommended tabling the issue until more information becomes available. Sanitary Sewer Ordinance Ms. Gaustad reported pertinent information has not been received to update the Residential Equivalent Unit figures listed in the sanitary sewer ordinance. Continuing, perhaps the City Engineer or Building Official/Public Works Director may have additional information. October Agenda *Willow Glen Business Park Ms. Gaustad reported the results of the August Commission action. The budget and codification was addressed and will be considered at the budget meeting Thursday, September 4, 1997. Seconded Rich Toumi's varience request was granted. The pawn shop ordinance was passed with the Planning and Zoning recommendations which were outlined by resolution. The TIF ADJOURNMENT MOTION by Ms. Vermeulen to adjourn the September 2, 1997, planning and zoning meeting. Motion seconded by Ms Broussard- Vickers. Motion carried unanimously.
