CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> DECEMBER 3, 1996 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City <br /> of Centerville held their regular meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 1996 at the City Hall. <br /> Chairman, Dan Tourville called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM. <br /> PRESENT: Dan Tourville ABSENT: Kathy Welk <br /> Al LaMotte Tina Vermeulen <br /> Linda Broussard - Vickers <br /> STAFF /CONSULTANTS: Ry -Chel Gaustad <br /> APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: <br /> Tourville indicated meeting minutes of June, July, September and November can not be <br /> approved as the required persons were not present for a quorum. <br /> OATH OF OFFICE: <br /> Linda Broussard - Vickers stated the oath of office being eligible to serve on the <br /> Comrnission of the Planning and Zoning for the City of Centerville. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> I. Schedule rezoning of Hensel /Leroux property for January - Tourville suggested the <br /> properties be considered as one, since there is one developer and the properties are <br /> adjoining. <br /> Tourville commented several years ago the city created a developers guide, which <br /> explained each step to be taken for a development. Further, he suggested the Planning <br /> and Zoning have adequate time to research and review this project, prior to rezoning the <br /> property and the proposed preliminary plat. Tourville asked the Planning and Zoning view <br /> the proposed sketch plans at the January 7, 1997 meeting. <br /> Tourville suggested to wait on the rezoning and preliminary plat public hearing until after <br /> Planning and Zoning has seen the sketch plans. <br /> 1. Metropolitan Council Comments - Tourville said there seems to be some concerns <br /> with the increased flowage and if the lift stations can handle the flow. Planning and <br /> Zoning discussed other issues identified in the Metropolitan Council letter dated <br /> November 12, 1996. <br />
