CITY OF CENTERVILLE RESOLUTION % -23 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND AWARDING BID for CLEARWATER MEADOWS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, Minnesota as follows: Section 1. Background findings 1.01 Pursuant to Council resolution a public hearing on the Improvement of watermain extension to existing home on Brian Drive south of Main Street and street and utility improvement of an extension of Brian Drive and construction of a new street known as Cottonwood Court was set for March 27, 1996. 1.01 Pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met, conducted the hearing and afforded an opportunity to all persons choosing to he heard. Section 2. Project Ordered 2.01 The Improvements as proposed by the Engineer are ordered to be constructed. 2.02 The plans and specifications for the Improvements as prepared by the City Engineer are re- approved. 2.03 It is the judgment of the City Council that the Improvements have no relationship to the municipal comprehensive plan. 2.04 The Council declares its official intent to reimburse the costs of the Improvements, now estimated to be $452,525.36, from the proceeds of tax exempt bonds to be issued by the city. Section 3. Awarding Bid 3.01 Pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law. And it appears that Lametti & Sons, Inc., Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. 101 It is authorized and directed that the city enter into a contract with Lametti & Sons, Inc. for the improvement of the development known as Clearwater Meadows according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the city council and on file in the office of the city clerk.
