The decision worked out very well for the <br /> City rather than staying with the State Electrical Board as done previously. the other <br /> cities I contacted had only good comments with this type of arrangement. Ken Peterson <br /> is a competent, knowledgeable inspector readily available to assist the City. The <br /> advantages are that the City realizes income that we did not receive from the State Board <br /> of Electricity, 20 percent of the permit fees. The City has greater control over who has <br /> permits and coordinating final inspections because the electrical permits are on file with <br /> the City. The administration of this agreement is not time consuming and becomes <br /> routine for our office help.
