Motion carried, Buckbee abstained.
The meeting minutes of April 30, 1996 were tabled due to lack of quorum present to pass.
SET AGENDA
Add Cable TV Operator, Kelly's Komer Fence, and move Payment of Claims up on the
agenda and committee reports to the end.
MOTION by Powers - Rasmussen, second by Brenner to approve the agenda for May 8,
1996, with the above noted corrections.
APPEARANCES
Mike Quigley, representative of the owners of GOR -EM Development presented the
sketch plan for Eagle Pass consisting of single family homes, twin homes and single family
townhomes.
Rick Harrison the designer for the project stated that they have just received preliminary
plat approval for a similar project in Andover. Mr. Harrison showed slides from similar
projects that provided a visual idea of what the project would look like. Other ideas
considered for the project: Staggering homes on the street, versus putting them all at the
same setback provides more freedom and would then be able to put windows on the side
of the homes. Generous open area between homes. An association maintained and
landscaped to keep the development very clean looking. This development would not
become "cluttered ". Mr. Harrison demonstrated by slides the aging process of
developments that are not by association.
Mr. Harrison then gave a demonstration with model houses showing how many more
houses would fit on the same street frontage by staggering the homes. This is allowed by
having the project fall under a PUD - Planned Unit Development.
CC5 -8MM. WPS 6
