CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> RESOLUTION 96 -20 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR GRANT FROM <br /> METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION REGARDING THE <br /> ELIMINATION OF INFLOWANFILTRATION. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville met on Wednesday, June 5, 1996, <br /> at 5:00 p.m. at the City Hall; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has been identified as having excessive inflows and <br /> infiltration to its sanitary sewage collection system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has been advised by Metropolitan Waste Control <br /> Commission that grant monies are available to assist in the identification and elimination of <br /> such sources of inflow and infiltration; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has a long standing commitment to properly maintain <br /> the sanitary facilities and reduce extraneous clear water contribution to the Metropolitan <br /> Waste Control Facility; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE: <br /> 1. The Clerk Administrator, Jim March is hereby appointed as contact person for any <br /> grant contracts with the Metropolitan Waster Control Commission for the elimination of <br /> infiltration and inflow into sanitary facilities; and <br /> 2. The Clerk Administrator is authorized and directed to submit an application to the <br /> Metropolitan Waste Control Commission in the amount of , of which <br /> would be paid for from city funds and would be a <br /> matching grant from the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission. <br /> Adopted by Centerville City Council this 5th day of June, 1996. <br /> Tom Wilharber, Mayor <br /> ATTEST <br /> Trudi Breuninger, City Clerk <br />
