Broker resources or special qualifications <br /> <br />Our marketing approach for the City of Centerville <br /> <br />We would first review the existing insurance program, including but not limited to the <br />following steps: <br /> <br />Review insurance limits, coverage, costs, claims, service from companies, schedules, <br />budget, and financial report. We note areas of concern or potential problems that we <br />find. <br /> <br />Meet with your staff to determine issues for upcoming year as well as any potential <br />problems noted from the above review, discuss any problems the City has had in the <br />past. Determine underwriting information necessary to solicit proposals from various <br />insurance providers. <br /> <br />Collect and review information from City staff and consultants, if used, to obtain <br />quotations. <br /> <br />Submit underwriting information to insurance companies for quotations. <br /> <br />Receive, review and analyze quotations for accuracy to our request, compare quotations <br />to other entities we serve for reasonableness, review rating for mathematical errors. <br /> <br />Present quotations with options to City staff. Discuss recommendations. <br /> <br />Attend City Council meeting, if desired by staff, to explain recommendations and <br />quotations. <br /> <br />Our process is to meet with the staff to determine what issues are for the upcoming year <br />so that we know how to direct our marketing efforts. Unique coverage issues can <br />sometimes be addressed. Manuscript endorsements have been obtained for our <br />customers by providing underwriters with voluminous amounts of information and in <br />some cases, having the underwriters and/or loss control personnel meet with the clients. <br />In some instances we personally deliver and review submissions with the underwriters. <br />We believe personal relationships and personal contact with the underwriters does <br />favorably impact the products, service and pricing that we receive for our customers. <br /> <br />T.e.
