City Administrator, Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson asked Council for approval for the police department to use <br />the residence on Centerville Road. He then said that he has asked for a schedule of use. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Terway. seconded by Council Member Paar. to direct <br />City Staff to work with the Police Department and tbe Fire District for use of tbe <br />former Turcotte property. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff is preparing to send out requests for <br />proposal to prospective developers. <br /> <br />Council agreed to direct Staff to solicit the developers. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the Library Board would like to have a <br />presentation from the City on January 31, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. concerning locating the <br />library in Centerville. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated that there were some discussions at the 13 5 meeting about Lino <br />Lakes donating property for a library location. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that Mr. Palzer is working on lawn service proposals <br />for review. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff would prepare information for a joint <br />meeting with Council as a follow up to the goal setting session. <br /> <br />2. CSAH 14 Improvement <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the County has begun the staking of the rights of <br />way and appraisal firms are working on a report for the County to be considered in <br />March. He then said that he anticipates that property owners would be contacted by the <br />County sometime in April. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that Staff is working with the County on ponds and <br />has found alternative locations for ponds so they are not on the frontage of the road and <br />that was a goal ofthe City. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson indicated that the County believes they will be funded for the <br />full improvement of the interchange in the 2009 funding cycle with federal funds. <br /> <br />Page 4 of5 <br /> <br />1 <br />
