2. Pavement Management Study Motion bv Council Member Capra., seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to table the pavement manaeement study to the work session if time allows. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. 3. Request for Overweight Permit - 7067 Goiffon Road Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the resident was in to request an overweight permit and she was out at a conference so it was added to the Council's agenda. Council Member Capra asked if the City Engineer had a preference for a specific street. City Engineer Peterson recommended using Heritage. Motion by Council Member Capra., seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers to approve the temporary overweieht permit for 7067 Goiffon Road for a total of 4 trucks at 7 tons each and reauest that he use the permit for Heritaee Street. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. 4. Purchase of a New Copy Machine & Folding Machine Council Member Lee asked if these machines were budgeted for. Ms. Paulseth indicated they are working on the capital improvement plan right now and there is money in the capital projects fund for this year or next year. Council Member Capra indicated there is also approximately $7,000 left over from the Week in Review. Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the copy machine at City Hall would be used at Public Works. Ms. Paulseth indicated the machines would be purchased through the cooperative purchasing bids process. Motion bv Council Member Capra., seconded bv Council Member Broussard ~ . Vickers to approve the purchase of a new copvine machine and a foldine and stuffine machine in an amount not to exceed $23.000. Council Member Lee asked whether it would be possible to eliminate or lower the amount of the service contract for the existing machine when it is moved to Public Works. Page 9 ef 14
