<br />3. Sedona Homes TIF Work Session (Update) <br /> <br />This item y.ras discussed earlier in the meeting. <br /> <br />4. Liquor License Renewals 2004 (Update) <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Kelly's and Water Works have outstanding issues that <br />are being worked o:ri. She also indicated that Tom Thumb has their application in the <br />mail and Comer Express had not yet sent it in. <br /> <br />5. Council Packet (Paper/CD) <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Staff is asking Council if they would prefer paper <br />council packets or CD. <br /> <br />Council discussed the matter and determined that the packet should remain paper but <br />asked that any reduction in the amount of paper for the packet should be done. Mayor <br />Sweeney indicated he likes having the CD especially for development plans. <br /> <br />6. EDC Sno Biz (paar- Update) <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated the tentative date for Sno Biz is February 20 and 21, ._ <br />2004. He then said that the EDC has no issue getting St. Genevieve involved and they <br />like the idea of sliding down the hill. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that the EDC would like to change the name to tie into <br />the Fete des Lacs because everyone felt that Sno Biz did not fit. Council consensus was <br />to a name change would be fine. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that she and Ms. Paulseth met with the business women and <br />they were excited and interested in participating in the Sno Biz opportunity. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that the EDC would contact the Lions to see if that date <br />works. He then said that the Experimental Aircraft Association will be offering free <br />plane rides for kids from 8 to 18 With parental consent. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that the EDC wants businesses to be involved but wants <br />to change the name of the event. He then said that the Experimental Aircraft Association <br />is insured by the EEA and they have event insurance that would list Centerville as well to <br />eliminate liability for the City. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated the EDC likes the idea of having a meeting with Anoka <br />County regarding the expansion of County Road 14 and the possibility of confirming the <br />commencement date of the project. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated it is her intention to invite all the County officials. <br /> <br />Page 12 of 14 <br />
