<br />,. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra requested the following change: On Page 4 of 14, third <br />paragraph up from the motion change 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee requested the following change: On Page 3 of 14, second <br />paragraph from the bottom indicate that the background noise levels were between 65 <br />and 70 decibels. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee4 seconded by Council Member Paar to approve the <br />October 84 2003 Council Meetine Minutes as amended. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The City of Centerville October 9, 2003 through October 22, 2003 Claims for <br />Approval <br />2. Centennial. Fire District Claims <br />3. EDC Recommendations (New Resident Packet & Fall/Winter Business Speaker) <br /> <br />Council Member Capra requested that Claims be removed for discussion. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers requested that the EDe recommendations be <br />removed for discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra.. seconded by Council Member Broussard <br />Vickers to approve Consent Aeenda Item 2 as presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra questioned the $110 reimbursement for lunch at. the warming <br />house. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney explained that the expenditure was for lunch for the Lions members that <br />volunteered to do the labor at the warming house. He then indicated they bought pizza <br />and Kelly's donated pop and water. He further indicated the work was done on Sunday <br />rather than Saturday due to rain and they worked from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated that she felt Council should have been asked for <br />approval prior to the expenditure. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney iIidicated that they had assumed that the amount would be part of the <br />$4,500 approved and noted that the amount came in substantially under that amount and a <br />cash receipt was turned in from Wiseguys. <br /> <br />. . <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers4 seconded by Council Member <br />Capra to approve the Claims as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 14 <br />
