<br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that she thought the first part of the <br />meeting was recommending not buying new packets but the second part made a motion <br />to buy nevy packets. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated the EnC has decided to make the packets smaller. <br />Ratb,er than a multi-page packet it will now be a tri-fold type of brochure that has trail <br />information and City Hall information with the website information. He then said that <br />$4,000 was approved from last year and the EnC is returning the $2,000 originally <br />budgeted but not used. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked why Council needed to approve this. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that the EnC would like the $4,000 back in their budget. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that the $2,000 goes back to 2002 and <br />there is no carryo~er. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra commented that the only thing that is cumulative is shirt sales. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated there needed to be a motion to reallocate or spend the <br />money. <br /> <br />CoUIicil Member Capra indicated that the Ene is asking for a motion to take the $2,000 <br />from 2002 previously allocated and reallocate it to the 2003 budget to purchase the new <br />brochures and they will have an estimate at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that the amount approved was for a <br />different brochure and this is something different. She then said that she would like to <br />know what the estimate is before approval. <br /> <br />Ms. Stephen indicated that the estimate is expected to be under $1,000. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member Lee <br />that the money allocated to the EDC for purchase of new resident packets revert to <br />the eeneral fund and that the EDC present a new request for brochure <br />expenditures as soon as they have new information.
