<br />approval process the property owners went through for the shed, when it was built and <br />what the size of the shed is. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked if Staff could send a letter to ask for the <br />dimensions of the shed and when it was built. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated tJIat if the property owner would like to disclose that <br />information it would be to their advantage but they are not required to do so. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers directed Staff to determine if the shed is in the <br />easement, the size of the structure and the year it was built. <br /> <br />Mr. Carlson asked for a timeline of when to expect action. <br /> <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Tower 500 000 Gallons <br /> <br />Council asked S!affto provide anupdate at the next Council <br /> <br />VL <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney opened <br /> <br />Fire Chief Bennett asked if the City was planning on removing the old water tower. <br /> <br />Council indicated that the old tower would be removed. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated the existing water tower had been purchased used and <br />Council has discussed selling it for the cost of removing it. She then indicated that the <br />City has a healthy water fund that will be funding the construction of the tower. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney indicated the proposed costs to construct the water tower are <br />approximately $1.086 million but that cost will not be assessed to .residents. He then <br />indicated that the composite water tower column is concrete and does not have to be <br />painted which will save the City a lot of money in maintenance. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated the estimated cost to paint the tower was $60,000 - <br />$100,000 each time so, even though the composite tower costs more initially to construct, <br />the City will come out ahead in long term maintenance as it does not need to be painted. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the study is available at City Hall for <br />review. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lee- seconded bv Council Member Paar to close the <br />Dublic hearini!. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouulv. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney closed the public hearing at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Page 4 of 14 <br />
