Council Member Broussard Vickers asked if Staff could send a letter to ask for the dimensions of the shed and when it was built. City Attorney Hoeft indicated tJIat if the property owner would like to disclose that information it would be to their advantage but they are not required to do so. Council Member Broussard Vickers directed Staff to determine if the shed is in the easement, the size of the structure and the year it was built. Mr. Carlson asked for a timeline of when to expect action. 1. Tower 500 000 Gallons Council asked S!affto provide anupdate at the next Council VL Mayor Sweeney opened Fire Chief Bennett asked if the City was planning on removing the old water tower. Council indicated that the old tower would be removed. Council Member Capra indicated the existing water tower had been purchased used and Council has discussed selling it for the cost of removing it. She then indicated that the City has a healthy water fund that will be funding the construction of the tower. Mayor Sweeney indicated the proposed costs to construct the water tower are approximately $1.086 million but that cost will not be assessed to .residents. He then indicated that the composite water tower column is concrete and does not have to be painted which will save the City a lot of money in maintenance. Council Member Capra indicated the estimated cost to paint the tower was $60,000 - $100,000 each time so, even though the composite tower costs more initially to construct, the City will come out ahead in long term maintenance as it does not need to be painted. Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the study is available at City Hall for review. Motion bv Council Member Lee- seconded bv Council Member Paar to close the Dublic hearini!. All in favor.
