<br /> <br />STAFF REpORT <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />October 8, 2003 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Councilmembers <br />Kim Moore-Sykes, City Administrator l6w6. <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Request by Sedona Homes to Meet with Council <br /> <br />......................................................................... <br /> <br />Ellen and I met with Paul Kellior, Scott Montgomery and Pat Pelstring on Wednesday to <br />discuss the possibility of submitting a request for establishing a Tax Increment District <br />(TIF) for the office project at 7035 - 20th. <br /> <br />We also discussed their interest in participating in the redevelopment of the downtown <br />area; the possibility of combining the redevelopment project on 20th Avenue with the <br />downtown project, creating a TIF district for both redevelopment efforts; and they even <br />suggested that with the water tower in the same district, TIP may be used to offset some <br />of the construction costs for the tower. Ellie and I will certainly look into that possibility. <br />
