<br />Centennial Fire District <br /> <br />F) Section 1213 - Discharge, Dispersal and Refuse <br /> <br />Section 1213.1 General. Areas designated for occupant discharge, dispersal or <br />refuge shall be maintained unobstructed and clear of storage. <br /> <br />Section 1213.4 Obstructions. (As amended) All exits shall be maintained free of <br />obstructions, including the accumulation of snow and ice, which would restrict <br />their use. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 25 - PLACES OF ASSEMBLY <br /> <br />A) Section 2501.16 - Maximum Occupant Load <br /> <br />Section 2501.16.1 Posting of room capacity. Any room having an occupant load <br />of 50 or more where fixed seats are not installed, and which is used for assembly <br />purposes, shall have the capacity of the room posted in a conspicuous place on an <br />approved sign near the main exit from the room. <br /> <br />Such sign shall be maintained legible by the owner or the owner's authorized <br />agent and shall indicate the number of occupants permitted for each room use. <br /> <br />B) Section 2501.16.2 -Determination of Occupant Load. The number of persons <br />in a building or portion thereof shall not exceed the amount determined as <br />specified in the Building Code, except that where such additional exit facilities <br />are provided the occupant load can be increased by not more than 10 percent, <br />when approved by the Fire Chief, without being considered overcrowding. <br /> <br />C) Section 2501.16.3 - Overcrowding. Overcrowding and admittance of persons <br />beyond the approved capacity of a place of assembly are prohibited. The chief, <br />upon finding overcrowding conditions or obstructions in aisles, passageways or <br />other means of egress, or upon finding a condition which constitutes a serious <br />menace to life, is authorized to cause the performance, presentation, spectacle or <br />entertainment to be stopped until such condition or obstruction is corrected. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 10 - FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS & EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />A) Section 1002 - Portable Fire Extinguishers <br /> <br />Section 1002.1 General.
