<br />City of Centerville <br />August 13, 2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />4. Eagle Pass Update <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that sod was laid on Portage Way and the streets have been <br />swept. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated she was there yesterday and they were working but there is a <br />construction debris pile that Staff could ask them to remove by the end of the week. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked whether escrow monies could be used to have the pile <br />removed. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that they would need to be notified to remove the debris <br />and then, if they did not do so, the City could do it and charge them. <br /> <br />A resident indicated she is concerned because there is a six foot tall pile of dead pine <br />trees and that is .~ fire hazard in this dry weather. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated she would call Mr. Quigley tomorrow and ask him to remove <br />it. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Council Member Lee and seconded bv Council Member Paar <br />to notify the developer to remove the debris pile containine dead trees by the end of <br />business on Fridav. AUl!Ust 15. 2003. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />The resident thanked Council Member Capra and Mr. Peterson for coming by.and talking <br />to them. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated there are issues on Pioneer Lane and Mr. Peterson <br />agreed to forward a letter to Mr. Quigley with regard to what needs to be done. <br /> <br />Mr. Peterson indicated the letter already went out. <br /> <br />5. Other Issues <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked about R and R Leasing. City Attorney Hoeft indicated <br />there would need to be an executive session at the next meeting to discuss it. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra indicated she would like an update and discussion on the rest of <br />the capital projects at that time. <br /> <br />Council Member Paar indicated that the EDC is updating the new resident packets and <br />working on plans for Snow Biz. He then said they discussed a City wide meeting <br />concerning County Road 14 and all of the road projects going on. <br /> <br />Page 12 of 13 <br />
