Mr. Dave Kilian 1695 Sorel Street (Site Plan Review)

Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Mr. Kilian had gone before the Planning and Zoning
Commission for site plan approval to construct two garages and the Commission
recommended approval of the plan as presented.

Mayor Sweeney asked the square footage size of the structures. Ms. Moore-Sykes
indicated that the one structure had remained the same size but the other had been
expanded to 22x24 since the Commission recoinmendation.

Council Member Capra asked whether the request falls within the parameters of 704
square feet.

Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Ordinance #4 allows for two accessory buildings and
does not distinguish whether that is two buildings for a total of 704 square feet or two
buildings each of 704 square feet.

Mr. Kilian of 1695 Sorel Street addressed Council and indicated that it would cost him
$2,500 more to build the buildings separately rather than as one and asked for permission
to build one building.

Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that going beyond the 704 square feet would require a
variance application and the hardship requirements would need to be met.

. Mr. Kilian indicated he would like to build the main garage 21x33 for a total of 693
square feet and build that this year. He then said he would like to build the other building
next year and asked whether that would be an issue with Council.

Council agreed that the buildings could be built as planned provided that they meet the
ordinance requirements.

2.
