<br />City of Centervi1le <br />July 9, 2003 <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Council Member Capra requested the following changes: On Page 3 of 12 correct the <br />spelling of church to Turgeon through out the document. On Page 7 of 12 correct the <br />spelling of Piehl. On Page 9 of 12 change water to sewer. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes requested the following change: On Page 9 of 12 change re-proofing <br />to re-roofing. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee.. seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to aoorove the June 25. 2003 Council Meetine: Minutes as Amended. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The City ofCenterville June 26, 2003 through July 9,2003 Claims for Approval <br />2. Centennial Fire District Claims <br />3. Parks and Recreation Committee Recommendations <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Caora. seconded by Council Member Paar to approve <br />the Consent Ae:enda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />v. A W ARDSIPRESENTATIONS/APPEARANCES <br /> <br />1. Anoka County Mediation <br /> <br />Ms. Buellin, Anoka County Mediation, addressed Council and provided an overview of <br />their services. She then thanked the City for its continued support. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that Staff appreciates the ability to use the mediation service <br />as it keeps ~ out of neighborhood disputes. <br />~ <br />Council Member Capra asked for information on the number of residents from <br />Centerville using the service. <br /> <br />VI. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br />1. Ordinance #49 - Noise (Continued) <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney re-opened the public hearing at 6:45 p.m. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he had reviewed the document and then went over his <br />proposed changes with Council indicating that he intended to provide a draft to Council <br />for review and consideration at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Council discussed whether to place the M-1 district into the same classification as <br />Commercial and Industrial for the noise chart and agreed to include it in that district. <br /> <br />Page 2 of 10 <br />
